(LAS VEGAS) Enterprise clients connecting through NuWave Communications will have even more confidence in the security of their business communications this fall. This September, Microsoft Corporation named NuWave Communications as a Skype for Business partner, giving NuWave a designation reserved for programs meeting the highest specifications in Microsoft’s partner certification program. NuWave’s SIP-trunking service, NuWave Connect, qualified with Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Secure RTP (SRTP) encryption protocols. Only 13 providers worldwide have achieved this depth of Skype certification.
Skype for Business marries the familiar interface of Skype with advanced integration, large-scale support, and enterprise-grade security. With the elite certification, Microsoft endorses NuWave Connect as delivering a premier-level Skype for Business experience.
“We are excited to be one of a select few to offer this level of security within the Microsoft ecosystem,” NuWave CEO Shawn Sims said. “We look forward to using this to help bolster our enterprise service offering and to grow with the Microsoft product suite.”
